Secondary projects

I always like to have a leather project going so I have something to work on when it’s way too early to get loud in my shop. Tonight I taped out a pattern for a small messenger bag on some rich oil tanned leather. That’s my bag in the picture, and I’ve been using it for a couple of years now. It’s perfectly sized for my tablet, a sketch book, countless pens and pencils, and room to spare for an additional notebook or two. Inside is a zippered pouch, a flat sleeve, and an additional pocket partly visible behind the pouch. The wrapped handle is comfy enough that I didn’t feel the need for a shoulder strap.

At any rate, whenever the bag is done I’ll list it in the store!
